As young boys, my two brothers and I were first introduced to the wine industry when we worked in the vineyards of the beautiful Waipara Valley.

Fuelled by Mums veggie soup and cold meat sandwiches my experience with wine was, and always has been, a real family affair.

Nine years later I was still working with wine and family, this time at Astrolabe Wines after completing a Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology at Lincoln University. 

Having moved from picking the grapes to selling the final product, my time with Simon and Jane Waghorn developed my interest into a passion, which led to a leap of faith to create a business I believe in.
