Ash Ridge is a true family affair. Owned and operated by Leith and Tracy Ashworth, the vineyard is run with heart, soul, and hands-on care. Together with their three children – Imogen, Max, and Elodie – and vineyard dog Winston, they live just around the corner in Maraekakaho, Hawke’s Bay. This is a winery built on connection – to each other, the land, and the community around them.

Ash Ridge is proudly certified organic. Every vine is farmed with care and intention, using natural practices that restore soil health, support biodiversity, and work in rhythm with nature. With livestock in the vineyard and no synthetic sprays in sight, Ash Ridge is a model for low-impact, sustainable wine growing in the Bridge Pa Triangle.

From vibrant Sauvignon Blanc to structured Syrah, Ash Ridge wines reflect their place – sun-soaked Hawke’s Bay, with its red-metal soils and coastal breezes. Every wine is made onsite by Leith himself, keeping quality high and intervention low. Their range includes estate-grown classics, small-batch reserves, and playful wines named after their kids – all crafted with authenticity, balance, and a deep sense of origin.
