Papaiti Gin's journey began in May 2021 when the founders discovered an enchanting house beyond the outskirts of Whanganui, New Zealand. What started as a relocation from Wellington unfolded into an exciting new chapter – the launch of a craft gin distillery along the picturesque banks of the Whanganui River.
Driven by a fervor for embracing the local essence, Papaiti Gin dedicated itself to sourcing botanicals from the immediate surroundings, including pears, kawakawa, lemon, lime, figs, quince, and rosemary. Their flagship creation, the Orchard Gin, encapsulates the spirit of their surroundings, offering a sensory journey through the rich tapestry of flavors cultivated in the heart of Whanganui.
